Engaging the public – Rule of Law Day

We have organized the first ROL Day on 14th April 2018. 30 civil society volunteers and 35 HKU Law students participated in the event.

 

We set up 10 street stations in five districts over Hong Kong and over 5,000 leaflets introducing the concept of the Rule of Law were distributed to citizens.

 

Besides distributing the leaflets, there was also an interactive activity for citizens to indicate which level of the Rule of Law best represents the current situation of the Rule of Law in Hong Kong: Existence of Law, Regulation by Law, Limitation from Law, or Justice through Law.

 

Another ROL Day was held on 3rd November 2018.
