How to join ROLE?
Every year, we recruit interns in September through the Faculty. Interested students may sign up for our Project by following the instructions stated in the mass email.
Admitted student interns will have the opportunities to work with and learn from the ROLE steering committee members as well as other senior members of the legal profession and social organizations. Intensive training on rule of law theory and values, skills of summarizing cases will be provided. Strong internship performance will be recognized by appropriate reference letters and service certificates.
Requirements:

fluent in Cantonese speaking, master writing in Chinese;

have a strong interest in understanding and promoting the ideals of the Rule of Law;

able and willing to devote at least 5 hours per week;

reliable and strong sense of responsibility and personal integrity;

confident in public speaking;

able to make time to teach secondary school students in late June to mid-July; and
-
while not a pre-requisite, experience with public affairs, social media and skills with videotaping and editing will be advantages.
Duties:

Deliver lectures and seminars in secondary schools

Create teaching plans

Assist the review of textbooks on rule of law topics

Develop contents (textual and multi-media) for our website and/or book publications
Starting Date: October or as soon as possible thereafter
Duration: October to next year mid-July
