Legislative Council and the Rule of Law

In Hong Kong, the Legislative Council functions to make, amend and abolish laws. It keeps the executive branch on checked by holding the financial budgets and beyond. However, the composition of the Legislative Council is often criticised for its division between the functional constituencies and the geographical constituencies.
